Sharon L. Harvey, CPA - Owner
Sharon started Gorden & Co, P.C. in 2014 after acquiring H.A. Gorden & Co., P.C. (established 1972) from her father, Harvey Gorden. Today, she is responsible for client relations, product accuracy and many of our firm's services.
With over 32 years of experience in payroll, accounting, personal and business tax preparation, audit representation, and tax planning, Sharon offers our clients a wealth of advice and expertise. She also completes numerous continuing education courses annually, allowing her to stay current with the ever-changing tax issues.
Sharon graduated from University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She earned her CPA in 1992. She is a member of the Illinois Society of CPAs, National Associates of Tax Preparers, and serves on the Accounting Advisory Board at College of Dupage. She is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor®.
Sharon is married and enjoys spending time with her two adult sons. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and golfing. She is an reader of non-fiction and historical fiction books.
